My Story
I’m a freelance Artist, based in Petersfield, Hampshire. I’ve always loved the countryside and having moved from London in 2018, feel completely blessed to be living in the beautiful South Downs. I’ve worked hard to establish a business that I can run from home, so that I can spend precious time with my son (and my Greyhound!) and that is based around something that brings me such joy.
I picked up a pencil for the first time in 25 years in 2018, whilst having to take some enforced rest after a back injury and really fell in love with drawing animals. What I enjoy most is focussing on fine detail, so colour pencil was a natural choice. Whilst it’s certainly not a medium for the impatient, the process of laying down multiple layers of pigment and gradually seeing the subject emerging on the paper is always so exciting.
The majority of my time is spent working on commissioned portraits. But I also keep some time free to work on my own projects, expanding my range of wildlife prints and cards.
